Field Placement is important because we get a hands on learning experience. We get to observe and be actively engaged in a classroom setting. It is important that I get as much time in a classroom setting before student teaching so I am fully prepared. Field placement also allows me to implement lessons. I get to observe how my host teacher runs her classroom and what works for her. I also get to build meaningful relationships with the staff at the school I am placed in. Building relationships is beneficial because they will be resources and support I can use in the future.
